Risk Assessment

Every AI chat you haven't archived is data you don't own.

AI platforms can reset, restrict, or delete your conversations at any time — with zero notice, zero recovery.

Without NexArchive
AI conversations stored on vendor servers
Unrecoverable after platform resets or shutdowns
No structured export — auditors see nothing
Proprietary research exposed to third-party infra
Copy & paste is the only "archiving workflow"
With NexArchive
Every chat archived locally in your browser — instantly
Survives every platform change, forever
Structured Markdown ZIP — audit-ready in seconds
IP stays on your device — zero third-party access
One keystroke exports everything in <100ms

OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google have all changed conversation retention policies — without notice. Your work lives on their servers, not yours.

Compliance & Audit Gap

Regulators increasingly require documentation of AI-assisted decisions. Unarchived AI interactions create audit gaps that can't be reconstructed after the fact.

Every proprietary analysis, strategy session, and research workflow you run through an AI provider lives on third-party infrastructure you don't control.

Open Formats — No Vendor Lock-in

NexArchive exports in standard Markdown and JSON. Any tool that understands Markdown can read your archives — today and in 10 years.

Proof, not promises

No testimonials yet — just facts you can verify yourself

NexArchive is new and open source. Instead of quoting customers we don't have yet, here is exactly what the extension does — and how to confirm each claim in your own browser before you trust a single word of it.

Your conversations never leave your device

NexArchive reads the chat from the page you already have open and writes a Markdown ZIP entirely inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to NexArchive, to Flowent, or to any third party — there is no backend that could receive your chat content.

Verify it: Open DevTools (F12) → Network, then run an export. You'll see no request that uploads your conversation anywhere — the ZIP is built locally.

No telemetry, no analytics, no tracking

The extension ships no analytics SDK, no usage beacons, and no hidden tracking. There are no cookies and no third-party scripts running in the background of your chats.

Verify it: The source is open. Search it for analytics, gtag, sendBeacon — you'll find none in the extension code.

Minimal, inspectable permissions

Manifest V3 forbids loading external JavaScript, so every line that runs is a line you can read. NexArchive requests only storage and declarativeNetRequest — the latter can only block or rewrite requests, never open new ones. Host access is scoped to the six named AI platforms only, not all sites.

Verify it: After install, open chrome://extensions → Details → Permissions. The full list and exact site scope are right there in plain text.

Local by architecture, not by policy

"Local-only" isn't a promise we ask you to take on faith — it's how the tool is built. There's no server-side component that could receive, store, or process your conversations, so there's no NexArchive-side data store to breach or subpoena. Uninstalling removes everything.

Verify it: Disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded, then export an open chat — it still completes, because the work happens on your device.

LE

A named, accountable founder

NexArchive is built by Luis Ens at Flowent, a developer based in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. There's a real postal address, a GDPR privacy policy under EU law, and a named data controller — the things a procurement and DPA review actually ask for. See the Legal Notice →

You're early — help shape the standard

NexArchive is in active v1.0 beta. Adopting now means outsized influence over what gets built next — platforms, formats, and compliance features. Install it, audit the source, run an export, and tell us where it falls short.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

NexArchive supports silent deployment via Google Workspace Admin Console and Microsoft Intune. We provide a pre-configured policy JSON file. Enterprise customers receive a dedicated deployment guide.

Since the extension operates exclusively locally, there is technically no data processing on our behalf. Enterprise customers nevertheless receive a formal DPA document for internal compliance documentation.

Chrome automatically deletes all data from chrome.storage.local upon uninstallation. Exported ZIP files remain on the user's local file system. No cloud copies exist.

SAML/SSO integration is on the roadmap for Q3 2026. Contact us — we can offer prioritized implementation for large customers.

Currently: Markdown ZIP and Context Bridge (JSON). Roadmap: PDF export, HTML archive, JSON schema for SIEM integration, and CSV summaries.

Interface changes by AI platforms can temporarily affect extraction. We monitor the supported platforms and prioritize these fixes above everything else, publishing updates via the Chrome Web Store as soon as they're ready. As a small team there's no guaranteed turnaround, but layout breakages are the top priority.

A REST API v1 is planned for Q3 2026, enabling automated exports, SIEM integration, and CI/CD connectivity. Enterprise customers can register for early access beta. Contact: anfrage@flowent.de

White-label is on the Q4 2026 roadmap. For agencies with more than 20 clients, we can arrange individual OEM agreements. Contact us for a confidential initial consultation.

The Enterprise Bundle includes dedicated onboarding and prioritized email support. We're a small team, so support is best-effort rather than a standing staffed desk — but enterprise inquiries are handled personally. Formal SLA terms with defined response times can be arranged individually as part of a custom agreement from 10 licenses.
